Loudoun Love Letters

Loudoun residents of all ages are encouraged to join us in writing letters to our community's nursing home and assisted living residents, many of whom are currently isolated due to COVID-19. Be creative! Drawings, photos and words of encouragement are ideal. All letters will be screened and quarantined prior to distribution to centers accepting them. Thank you for sharing the love during this time of need! Please mail letters to: Programming at LCPL, 102 N St. NW, Leesburg, VA 20176, or type/handwrite & scan letters, and email them to Programs@library.loudoun.gov.

Above the Fray - A Pastorale Concert

Above the Fray is part of the Loudoun Pastorale original suite of music produced by Rust Library Artist-in-Residence Quentin Walston. This is one of five movements in the piece, all of which were inspired by artwork of Loudoun County's countryside created by local artists. Walston worked in the library for over three months and collaborated with Loudoun musicians to create the full suite. It was to be performed in its entirety before the library closed. The Artist-in-Residency program is a COLLAB program with the library and the Loudoun Arts Council.
