Pirate School!

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Cascades Library
Meeting Room B - Cascades
Join bumbling pirate professor Billy Bones, as he teaches youngsters to be good pirates with zany lessons on how to talk, sing and laugh like jaunty buccaneers. Audiences engage in boisterous competitions and learn the finer points of light-hearted mischief while cannons boom, skulls talk, bubbles pop and pets run amok. Performed by David Engel from New York State, and selected as our special annual program sponsored by the James Horton for the Arts Trust Fund at Cascades Library. Space may be limited. For all ages.
The Fund was created as a lasting celebration of the life and creative spirit of James Fontaine Horton: avid reader, musician, aspiring poet, fiction writer, and frequent patron of the Cascades Library. The annual summer performance encourages young people to enjoy the arts and find their own creativity by sparking their imagination.
