John K. Schwarz narrates the story of the USS Houston CA-30 and her survivors’ experiences as POWs building the Burma-Thailand Railway, or Death Railway, which was depicted in the 1957 film The Bridge on the River Kwai. Schwarz is the Executive Director of USS Houston Survivors’ Association and Next Generations.
