Gettysburg is often remembered for its carnage, and Loudoun soldiers were central in the battle’s final attack. Dr. Joseph Rizzo, Executive Director of the Loudoun Museum, examines the Confederate Army’s 8th Virginia Infantry, a military unit largely composed of men from Loudoun County.
