Join staff from Purcellville Library for information on basic trail safety, hiking tips and map reading at the pavilion right outside of Bear's Den Lodge. Take an optional hike on your own to Bear's Den Overlook or along the Appalachian Trail after the program. Wear comfortable and appropriate clothing (including long pants and sturdy shoes) and bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated.
