Use Sharpies and rubbing alcohol to make a Tie Dye design on a shirt or bag. Games and computers are also available. Teens must arrive between 6 and 6:30 p.m. For age 12-Grade 12.

However, a parent or guardian must accompany their teen to the library to verify ID. Parents and teens can also stop by the Cascades Library front desk anytime during open hours for pre-verification.

The Lost History of Potomac Marble

Virginia Master Naturalist Paul Kreingold rediscovered some of our area's 200-year-old quarries that supplied the marble used to restore the Capitol and other buildings after their destruction by the British in 1814. Find out how he found the quarries and check out his polished samples. This program is presented in partnership with Virginia Master Naturalists.
